Justice League and Actor's Strike?

So I was talking to my friend who is part of the writer's guild. He told me that the reason why The Justice League movie is going to be all CGI is because the beginning of next year the actors (along with the writer's) guild are going to go on strike.
WTF, right!?
He told me that the writer's want more rights for the movies. Such as when their movies go on On Demand or some type of cable crap, they want a percentage of that purchase, or something of that nature. I'm not sure what the actor's want. Probably more money, but yea. This should happen around the time the contract is renewed. So this should be interesting. I'm thinking that this whole thing will blow over but if not. Hell, well then I guess us 3D artists are gonna be finding a lot more job openings 


In other news, I'm pretty much done with my demo reel. All I have to do is my end credits. Which is easy, I think the only thing I need to worry about is printing and the tree. Woo hoo!
